Tidewater Community College’s Theatre Department will hold open auditions for the 21st annual Shakespeare in the Grove production. This year’s play, “Much Ado About Nothing,” will open on June 20.

Open auditions will be held on March 18 from 10 a.m. to noon and March 25 from 1-3 p.m. in the Black Box Theatre in the Academic Building on the Chesapeake Campus, 1428 Cedar Road. To request an audition, email Trey Clarkson, director, at clarksoe@chsvb.org.

Each audition will take about five minutes, and roles are available for about 15 actors. Please have a two-minute, memorized monologue ready for the audition.

Rehearsals will begin in early May and will run Monday – Thursday from 7-10 p.m.
